Al Mohler on the 2008 election:
“The rhetoric of the race — and the rhetoric of many evangelicals — is disturbing. This race is important and necessarily so. We are talking about the next President of the United States, after all. But evangelicals have invested far too much hope in the political process. No government can make people good, transform humanity, or eliminate sin. The political sphere is important, but never ultimate. Jesus Christ is Lord — and He will be Lord regardless of who sits in the Oval Office.”
THIS is funny and sad at the same time.
This Story was linked on digg with the headline of “another reason to stay out of the water”. Could you imagine a fun day of snorkling and seeing that face coming toward you as if you were merely another chunk of meat? The thought is chilling.
Here’s how I read This Article:
“Dear Rob,
This is what your new phone will look like, but you’ll probably have to wait until August to get it.
Love,
Motorola”

When I left my old job in DC in August of 2005, I signed up for cellular phone service with Verizon because that is the carrier most of the people I talk to have (my brothers and their wives have yet to see the light). At the time, the Razr was the newest and best phone available, but only cingular was carrying it. Of course, Verizon started carrying the Razr two months after I got my phone. Well I’m up for a new phone in June, and it’s nice to know I won’t have to spend another two years wanting a different phone.
